Collection: Golden Joinery

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with metal. It treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. During the hand-cutting and polishing process, gemstones do occasionally fracture leaving behind unusually shaped remnants of spectacular color and quality. The art of Kintsugi allows us to up-cycle and rethink the casualties of design.  It offers something new and innovative in the fine jewelry space all the while creating a new sustainable approach to material sourcing. Open-back settings showcase a thoughtful 360-degree composition with golden-joined fissures visible on the inside and outside resulting in a collection complete with precious imperfection.
